Regarding iTunes, you're likely correct. It's possible that the DisplayFusion hooks may not be fully loaded before iTunes is starting up on your system. Unfortunately there's not much that can be done about that. There are some third-party programs that allow you to control the order the items startup, but I don't have much experience with them.

Please let me know if you have any other questions at all.

Thanks!

Yeah.. /: This is extremely annoying and I'd be very surprised if you guys didn't come up with a way to fix it. DisplayFusion is awesome and there's no limit to what software can do and DF is just an arsenal of tools and I'm very disappointed with this bug. It has basically reduced the fluidity of the software by about half, since generally I tend to throw my windows around.

Also, I set my iTunes to open on my left screen, yet the setting doesn't stick. Is this a known issue? It works when I close and open iTunes, but it doesn't work upon boot. I'm assuming that's because iTunes boots before the DisplayFusion setting for it kicks in?
Now, I have to grab the screen, and drop the window off onto the next monitor, if I try putting it on the edge, it doesn't snap into place.

I'm ASSUMING that this is because of the retarded ass pop out sliders of Windows 8 on the left and right side. Instead of allowing me to drop the window, it's activating the slide out bar process.

DisplayFusion doesn't have an option to "throw" the window to the second monitor, but it does have the "Move to next monitor" TitleBar button that you can just click to have it automatically move to the next monitor. Is that button missing?

Regarding the Start Screen/Search Charm, you're correct, they are connected . You'll need to left-click the lower-left corner on the monitor that you want the Start Screen/Search Charm to open on. Unfortunately, by design in Windows 8, they always open on the same monitor.

Hope that helps!

Hello all. I had DisplayFusion on an older install a while back. I now have the updated version on a different install.

I am facing some problems.

For example, when I try to drag a Chrome window from one monitor to the other, I have to drag my the window off the desktop, and all the way to the middle of the next monitor for it to snap. I remember being able to simply pull and throw the window to the next screen with ease, the window would unhook and then just snap itself to the next monitor with very little "force" from me. What setting is making it behave like this?

Also, I am new to Windows 8. The little bar on the right that pops up for the search and system settings and whatnot, is set to my left monitor. How do I get that bar to appear on the monitor to the right?

When I press the Windows key, it bring up the Metro UI, but on the left monitor. Gonna go ahead and take a wild guess... this issue and the issue above are connected. How would I get the Metro to be in the middle?

Thanks in advance for your help.
