I will certainly try your suggestion, once I'm able to reproduce the behavior again.
Since I received your reply, I had been monitoring the volume/mute status display, through several log-on/log-off and power-on/power-off cycles, and all seemed to be behaving well.

Ironically though, this reminded me of Murphy's law - "If anything that can go wrong, it will go wrong, except when you complain about it".
Hello,

If this matter was previously discussed, I apologize for posting about it again; I couldn't find any references during my searches relative to my issue. I'm not sure if this issue is due to DisplayFusion 5.1, or something else.

System Info
----------------
Win 7 Pro 64-bit
DisplayFusion Pro 5.1
IntelliType 8.2
RAM 16-GB
Ask if more info is needed.

Symptom
-------------

The volume +/- and Mute buttons, when pressed, display a small status window in the lower right corner of the main monitor, for a few seconds.
Green bar when changing volume up & down.
Red bar when muted.

However, the toggle mute function seems to display the wrong status window and color. It seemed to be random - sometimes it worked as it should - most of the time it didn't.
If i pressed the mute button, I would see a green bar or red bar.
If I unmuted and then pressed the up or down volume, the status window would should the red bar with the muted speaker symbol, instead of the green bar.

Any ideas what's going on here?

Thanks for the reply,
Bryan
