We have this on our list to fix up, and if we're able to get it sorted out in a future update, we'll definitely let you know.
What I mean is hold the Windows key, press Left or Right to make the active window snap to that half of the monitor, then select another window to pair it with. When you click between them, a thick black bar appears, and you can slide it left or right to change the ratio between those two windows.
It works fine on my Primary monitor, and on my secondary _IF_ DF is not running. Once DF is running, one application moves, but the other does not. My testing as been with Chrome and OBS Studio. 99% of the time, Chrome (trying to shrink it) will shrink appropriately, but OBS will stay at the halfway marker. Very rarely, OBS will change size, and break the Snap at the same time.
It seems to be related to the Multi-Monitor Taskbar, as turning that off has the windows remaining snapped together.
