I narrowed it down to Outlook as opposed to transitions on the secondary monitor as I thought originally. The flicker happens only just after Outlook updates its status and:

- Outlook window is open on the primary screen (not minimized) and is behind whatever active window I happen to be working with at that time, and
- DisplayFusion is running (I always run it with two monitors and a different wall paper on each displaying pictures from a local drive in the random mode, primary changes per hour, secondary per minute

No big deal really, just a bit annoying.

Thanks for getting back Keith, this kind of attention to customers is great

The flicker is not as consistent as I originally thought, it comes and goes. But when it's there it is always on the transition on the secondary monitor. I will try to see if I can catch a repeatable situation. Meanwhile I will also try your suggestion.

BTW - any comments regarding suggestions in my prior post on features?

I don't notice any flickering on any of my test machines, perhaps your video card isn't handling the wallpaper transition (fade in/out) properly?
If you disable the "Use transitions when changing wallpaper" option in the Wallpaper Settings, does the flickering go away?
