The flicker happens only just after Outlook updates its status and:

- Outlook window is open on the primary screen (not minimized) and is behind whatever active window I happen to be working with at that time, and
- DisplayFusion is running (I always run it with two monitors and a different wall paper on each displaying pictures from a local drive in the random mode, primary changes per hour, secondary per minute

The flicker is not as consistent as I originally thought, it comes and goes. But when it's there it is always on the transition on the secondary monitor. I will try to see if I can catch a repeatable situation. Meanwhile I will also try your suggestion.

BTW - any comments regarding suggestions in my prior post on features?

That flicker is rather annoying since in my two-monitor setup that image changes every minute.
