Will leave the post up in case someone googles this in the future. This issue was caused by an interaction between Start10 and DisplayFusion. Start 10 gives users the option to apply a texture to their taskbars instead of simply using a solid color. When I applied a texture yesterday, it caused the transparency issues on my displayfusion taskbar.
