In the Wallpaper section, enable the "Ignore Sub-Folders" option and you should be all set

Is there any way to not include sub-folders?

One thing that would be cool is to have a right click option to exclude the current picture and build up a list (editable) within the app, but if that's too complicated then...

A checkbox (do not include sub-folders) would be enough.
