That worked a treat. Windows Update is managed by the IT boffins and I couldn't find what I needed from the link you provided, but I just Googled "root certificate update windows" and found the update that way.

If the two options above don't work, could you send me a screenshot of the Digital Signature Details in the Properties of DisplayFusion.exe?

I've seen a couple of locked threads about this error, and I've done as they suggest (removing UAC, adding the security certificate to Root Trusted CA, etc) and I still get the "A referral was returned from the server" error when attemping to start DisplayFusion in Win7 Enterprise x64. I really like this software and am desperate to get it running again! ]]>
