I wanted to ask the same question because when dragging files over the show desktop button DF won't show the desktop anymore. I am pretty sure that it was possible in earlier versions or at least with windows 7 (i am now using w10). One difference that I noticed between the original and the DF taskbar is that with the original taskbar I've still got the mouse cursor when dragging a file over the taskbar and depending on where I am I can also pin the file directly on the taskar. With display fusion no matter where i put my mouse (when dragging a file) it shows this not-allowed cursor so I can neither use the show desktop function, nor can I pin the file directly to the taskbar.
