Thank you for the feedback. This is something that has started bugging me lately as well. The next version of DisplayFusion will have wallpaper shifting, so you can move the wallpaper around to select what you want clipped.

I see you've released version 1.5.0 which has wallpaper shifting in. I downloaded that with much glee this morning, and sadly I have to report that it's not working for me quite as I'd wish.

I have a 1920x1200 primary monitor, and then a 1280x1024 next to it on the right.

My desired background image is 6954x2322 pixels, so I use "scale to height, preserving aspect ratio".

This loses picture detail off both the left and right edges of the screens - but the detail off the right is more important to the picture, so I'd like to scroll the whole thing left; when I try this however, I just see the blue background of the desktop appear on the right...

Thanks again for your continued updating of this excellent software. Sorry to have to report the bug!

Robin

Hi,

I downloaded DisplayFusion yesterday, in order to make use of the facility to spread one background image across 2 monitors. It works fabulously, and is far more simple and straightforward than anything else I've tried.

One minor problem has presented itself though; if I use my chosen image in "Fit Height Maintaining Aspect Ratio" mode, I lose the right hand edge of the picture.

As it happens, the left hand edge of the picture is more boring, so I'd rather lose that

Maybe in future versions, rather than always keeping the left hand edge on the screen you could have that as an option? (Left/Centre/Right options?)

Or, for bonus points, allow the picture to be dragged around ?

Thanks anyway for a great piece of software!

Robin
