Hello,
This is actually due to the monitor splits. DisplayFusion is resizing the window to fit to the split, rather then maximizing it, so Windows won't see the window as being truly maximized while splits are enabled.
Hope that clears things up!

I started using Splits and taskbar buttons a few weeks ago and I noticed that none of my windows ever have the Resize 🗗 symbol on the windows button on the top/right. It always stays on the 🗖 symbol.
I'm guessing that it has something to do with the taskbar buttons that move a window to a split and maximize it. Is this a bug, or something I can change?
