Hi,

This might not be possible, more likely not as I can't find an alternative, but what I'd like to do is:
- To drive a monitor at a resolution higher than it natively supports
- For the monitor-manager to then either scale the display back to the monitor (i.e. Zoom Out), or to allow me to scroll a movable view over the higher resolution as if viewing through a frame.

The reason for wanting it:
- Large low-res displays, where I can later zoom-in
- Using projectors, where two displays must have the same resolution, and the laptop display downgrades the projected image.
... in both cases the graphics card can support the higher res.

Any thoughts?
