Then went to Export Settings and exported it but unfortunately the Functions were not imported.

So, i decided to one-by-one manually export each custom function and then import it into the new laptop. Unfortunately the "Key combinations" were also not imported, so had to restore them manually...

The settings are indeed stored in the registry. They're in the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion

Please let me know how it works out on the Windows 7 machine and we'll go from there. One thing I just wanted to note, is to make sure you update to the latest 8.0 Beta before restoring your settings. The Triggers feature didn't exist in 7.3.4, so if you restore the settings in 7.3.4, then update to the 8.0 Beta, the Trigger rules won't be there.
