DisplayFusion will still remember the window's size for restoring, but it needs to go through the animation for the sake of certain applications.

Fixed: Removed the new window movement function, it was causing too many compatibility issues, DisplayFusion will still remember a window's restore position

If so, what were the compatibility issues exactly? I hadn't encountered anything wrong, maybe it only affects some applications? I just want to know what problems to expect, since right now I prefer to stick with Beta 6.

I had just been lamenting that I haven't been seeing a new version of DF lately... then I come to the website and find 6 beta versions.

My favorite change is this:

Quote:
Changed: Windows are now moved so that they retain their "restore" location when un-maximizing them (Windows 7 ONLY). Some applications do not like this, so there is an option on Compatibility tab to exclude certain applications from using this new method

This behaviour has been bugging me for a long time; it was also one of the things I remember Ultramon doing better. Finally it is fixed! Now when I middle-click maximized windows, there are no more annoying resize-animations. Awesome!

I also have to say taskbar button grouping is looking very promising. I haven't enabled it right now, because I'm waiting for a "Combine when taskbar is full" option, but I'm sure it'll come eventually. Thanks!
