@Patrick: Thanks for sending those over! The issue is related to the hook chain and how the hook chain security permissions work in Windows. DF uses mouse hooks for some features, and RocketDock uses them for the mouseover animations. What's happening here is that DF runs elevated, and RocketDock doesn't. Elevated programs aren't allowed to pass hook messages down the chain to non-elevated programs, so RocketDock never gets them after we're done with them.

There are a few workarounds you can use (any one of these will work):

Make sure that RocketDock launches after DisplayFusion, so that it gets the hook messages first.

Run RocketDock as administrator.

Disable the "Prevent mouse cursor snagging" option in the DisplayFusion Settings.

Hope that helps!

You are amazing and very smart! Thank you, this solved my problem. I did tick the "Prevent mouse cursor snagging" for fun last time I was looking at all the DP options and unchecking it now solved the problem.

Keith,
Sorry I no longer use Display Fusion so cannot supply what you've requested. When I stopped using DF my system was not at its most stable and I pretty sure the problem lay elsewhere. DF is a great program and my decision to stop using it was only in a small way contributed to by this issue. I took the decision to reduced the complexity of my setup as the instability that resulted was badly affecting my productivity. DF was likely collateral damage of this decision.

Thanks anyhow.
