I've just discovered running Google Chrome in "app mode" which allows you to run an instance of a website as if it were a chromeless, standalone app.<br/>
<br/>
To do this, you need to assign assign parameters to the shortcut:<br/>
<br/>
<div class="Image"><a href="http://i.imgur.com/fqLjnno.png" target="_blank" data-fancybox="" data-caption="http://i.imgur.com/fqLjnno.png" HelpButtonData="http://i.imgur.com/fqLjnno.png" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/fqLjnno.png" alt="http://i.imgur.com/fqLjnno.png" title=""></a></div><br/>
<br/>
On the Windows taskbar, this can then be pinned, and the parameters are remembered on reopening.<br/>
<br/>
Using Display Fusion, I discovered it needs a bit of manual setup! You have to set the parameters and icon manually. It would be nice if this this was taken care of.<br/>
<br/>
Anyway, it still works, so that's brilliant.<br/>
<br/>
Cheers!<br/>
Dave
