Your English is great! The explanation makes sense. DisplayFusion uses the monitor ID numbers to identify them, so if those change, things get messed up. You should be able to create two profiles by doing the following:

With the TV off, save the layout as a Monitor Profile (just click the Save button in the Monitor Configuration window)

Turn the TV on, then save the new layout as another Monitor Profile (same as above, use the Save button but give it a new name)

You should then be able to load the appropriate monitor profile, depending on whether the TV is on or off

Hope that helps!

Hi there,

I've been a user of displayfusion for a while now, one of the only softwares for which I've actually used my credit card and bought a license .
Recently I've assembled a new setup, which is : [16/9 monitor] [21/9 monitor] [16/9 monitor]. + TV that is sometimes turned on.
Since some games don't work properly on the 21/9 monitor, I've set up two profiles to easily change the primary monitor from th 21/9 monitor to the 16/9 one. Everything works fine.

But if my TV is also turned on and set to display my computer, then my profiles get completely wrong. As soon as I switch to another profile, my resolutions are all messed up (21/9 screen gets a 16/9 resolution, and vice-versa).

I believe the problem is related to the montior numbers, but I couldn't find a way to setup 2 profiles that still work even if my TV is on.

I'd be really grateful if somebody could help me. Thanks in advance !

(btw, sorry if my explanation is not very clear, english isn't my native language)
