I bought DisplayFusion just a few seconds ago and the first thing I noticed, even before I started the application UI itself, is that it completely messed up all my wallpapers. I'm not able to restore the wallpapers now even after unclicking "Allow DisplayFusion to manage the Desktop Wallpaper" and "Autofix wallpaper images when wallpaper feature is enabled". DisplayFusion keeps setting it to either black or tile, if I select the image. This is not good that the bug exists since 2017 and still not fixed. I'm requesting my refund now.

I noticed in the Windows wallpaper settings, it doesn't show the file names for the last used images, so I wonder if you're picking the DisplayFusion generated image, as it would look the same as yours (assuming you stitched the same images together). That does partially seem to be the case. If I pick a completely different wallpaper in Windows, it does not reset. However, I'm not using the exact same wallpaper for Displayfusion and Windows.

Here's how I actually configured my wallpapers in Displayfusion and Windows (dual monitors)
Displayfusion:
Each monitor has its own wallpaper, set through DisplayFusion settings.
Windows:
Combined the two wallpapers into a single image (tried both PNG and JPG) and set using "Tile" or "Span" through Windows wallpaper chooser so wallpaper goes across both monitors.

So even if I manually go and choose the merged larger wallpaper in Windows, the screen still gets set back to black in a few seconds, even though it isn't exactly the same thing as the two individual wallpapers set through DisplayFusion. I'm not sure how Displayfusion does the wallpaper merging but I'm assuming it is the same as creating the larger merged wallpaper, since it still resets the Windows wallpaper when I use the merged on in Windows, and the unmerged wallpapers through Displayfusion. And you did say that the resetting only happens when selecting the Displayfusion wallpaper in Windows wallpaper chooser.

I am using DisplayFusion Pro on Steam 9.1 and I unchecked "Allow DisplayFusion to manage the Desktop Wallpaper". When I change the Windows wallpaper to any color, it's fine, but when I change it to an image, the image appears for a few seconds and then it forces the windows wallpaper to be just black. This only happens when DisplayFusion is open and when DisplayFusion is supposedly not allowed to manage the desktop wallpaper. When it's closed the wallpaper is fine. On restart displayfusion forces it black again.
