At home I connect to 2 monitors, but on the go (school, work, etc) it is just the surface display.
It would be nice if the system/DF could just switch my settings for me.

When we originally implemented the Monitor Profiles feature, some monitors were unreliable at providing uniquely identifying information, like their serial #. However, we're going to re-visit this to see if it's something we could reliably implement. If we're able to add it in a future version, I'll be sure to let you know
