However, we didn't actually do anything to fix the desktop icons shadows. We're able to reproduce that even on a clean system without DisplayFusion having ever been installed. It seems to happen in Windows 8 and 10, pretty much any time the desktop window is refreshed (wallpaper change, etc). (1) Performance Options | Visual Effects tab / 'Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop' no longer works after installation Beta 11. Several Restarts confirm that shadows can no longer be turned off.

Reverted to Beta 10. On first restart text of Desktop Icon displayed without shadows.

(2) Unmatched color of icons/buttons on DF Taskbar when Classic Menu controls Taskbar color continues. See second attachment.
