So, it looks like DisplayFusion wont help me with this particular issue.

It may not help here, as I suspect that only one layer is "visible" at a time, meaning that the other layers are basically hidden windows and not seen by DisplayFusion. I have just purchased DisplayFusion for a specific purpose which unfortunately unless I am just missing something, it just wont help me with. That being said, it is feature rich and provides me with other capabilities so I am a happy user.

Here is my issue that I had originally hoped it would help...

I am a financial analyst using a specific application which displays windows (charts) in layers. I go to layer 1 and there are maybe 5-10 financial charts. I jump to layer 2 and can then view the charts on that layer, and so on...

I am running Windows 10 Pro with four monitors connected, 3 x DP and 1 x HDMI.

I turn off the monitors overnight with a single switch via a Belkin Conserve Switch. The PC is left running and awake.

When I turn on the monitors in the morning Windows 10 has, in its infinite wisdom, decided that one of the monitors likely is no longer being used and therefore moves all windows on that monitor elsewhere. I then spend 5-10 mins moving them all back into their correct position. This is a big deal as it involves charts on 9 different layers.

I tried using the Window Position Profiles within DisplayFusion so that with a quick key combination all my windows would be back where they should be...and it works, BUT only on layer which is visible/active when the window profile is saved. When I then go to another layer, all the windows are still on the wrong monitor.

So I guess my question is, is there ANY way using DisplayFusion to prevent this annoying 'feature' of Windows that moves my windows?!?!
