If you right click on the taskbar, you'll get a context menu. On that menu, go to position, and hit disable. It will remove the offending taskbar.

As far as the wallpaper issue, I know that what you are asking is not yet possible, although the boys have it on their list of requested things to implement. And I'm sure if it's possible, they'll get it done.

I have a 4 monitor config.
3 monitor on a line (all 1920*1200)
the 4th monitor on the top of the center monitor (a plasma 1920*1080)

first:
I like to have the DF bar on the three monitor on my desk
but I want to disable the bar on the plasma
the only option i found is all bar enabled or all disabled
is there an option to disable the bar on a monitor basis ?

second:
I like to have an extended desktop wallpaper for the tre monitor on the desk
and black solid color for the plasma on the top
is there an option to create a monitor array on which extend the wallpaper
and leave out the 4th monitor. on which to apply the solid black ?
