I'll test here with that orb when I have a chance and I'll let you know how it works out <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /></div></div><br/>
<br/>
I've messed around with the scale a little bit, but it still seems to keep the 3px top offset <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-frown.light.svg" alt=":(" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":(" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /> Also, the scale/proportions seem to match my correctly position start orb. I have a funny feeling it may be something to with my theme.<br/>
<br/>
I've attached a picture to describe my reasoning: On my regular monitor, if I hover over the clock, the background has an offset. On the Display Fusion monitor, the clock-hover effect displays correctly. The theme I'm using is Dash Windows 7, found on Deviant Art, however the problem may have been caused by registry entries from multiple themes installed beforehand.<br/>
<br/>
I know I'll be doing a fresh reinstall sometime in the near future, so we'll see how it goes then <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /><br/>
<br/>
Thanks for your help!

Hey there!<br/>
<br/>
I've attached two files:<br/>
6801.bmp - the orb I'm using - 72pixel per inch, 32-bit depth, 54x162px.<br/>
startorb.png - the result of my start orb when I apply it with Windows 7 Start Orb Changer v5 (resource editing mode)<br/>
<br/>
The result is a 3px top offset + 26px start orb + 1px bottom offset, rather than a full 30px start orb (my start bar uses small icons). I'm aware of the supported start orb programs and have tried them with success, however they also include a bunch of other explorer modifications I don't want. Just trying to keep things as simple as possible.<br/>
<br/>
If the issue is not with the image I'm using, it may potentially be due to other system files being changed by custom theming, etc, but hopefully not <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /><br/>
<br/>
As a fix, is it at all possible to have an advanced option to set an offset for our start orb? I've read previous posts where others' had similar problems, but I'm pretty sure that was due to setting the image bit-depth incorrectly. Either way, an offset would make it a pretty simple fix for us <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /> The only thing that concerns me is the 1px underline at the bottom of the image - as if it's being cut off.<br/>
<br/>
Thanks for your help,<br/>
Ryan
