You would however be possible to write c#-scripts that will cause performance problems like infinite loops for example.

You could also blame DF as for "impacting gaming performance" per se, whenever your machine ressource will reach its limits running DF and such game at the same time. But this would mean you have very poor performance to run the game without DF anyway. Understanding? The last case described may not appear in 99.9% of all cases.
