I've been having this problem... only started recently though. Searched hi and low for whey DCS was sometimes hanging at the splash screen.
Finally worked out the if I disabled DisplayFusion the problem went away. At least I have a fix now. The compatability fix works for me too. If I turn it back on, it stalls forever at the splash screen. Hope that helps narrow it down.

I didn't enable anything other than the default settings and chose the 2 displays. I will mess with it some more and get back to you tomorrow...

• Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
• Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
• Reply with the file attached
• Disable debug logging after sending the log

The DCS game would hang at the splash screen and never open. I got with the tech support at DCS and we narrowed it down to Display Fusion because it all works great if I turn it off or exit the program. Basically on the DCS game there is a settings menu with various settings but the one that caused the hangups was where you put a checkmark in the FULL SCREEN setting. Once you did that and restarted the game it would hang at the splash screen. You can download the game for FREE and test it yourself here:
