Lets see, what do I use it for...

A metric effton of functions (window opacities, window positions, window sizes, locking the mouse into a single screen/window...)

WAY better wallpaper functionality (organizing wallpaper profiles, getting different wallpapers for every monitor, timing the changes different for each of them, animated wallpapers, better sizing options, easy stopping and continuing of profiles, making wallpapers work properly when using nVidia Surround...)

Adjusting monitor configurations (nVidia Surround combines 3 monitors into a single massive one, DF can split them into smaller virtual monitors again so that windows don't maximize on all of them at the same time)

Desktop icon profiles (nVidia Surround throws desktop icons around and messes them up, DF can save them and load whatever layout I wish at the push of a button)

Better multimonitor task bars.

And those are just the ones I use quite often. Then there are the remote control capabilities, screen saver improvements, alt-tab customization etc. etc. on top of that.

It's not for everyone, not everyone fiddles with their computer to this extent, but damn it if it isn't by far the best software for those of us that do. =)

I also like the wallpapers and using CTL+WIN+R to make DF load the next random wallpaper.
And I hate how, by default, W10 has CTL+X appearing in the bottom left hand corner instead of at my mouse. DF Fixes that issue for me.
What I think you should do is really look at the settings and look at the key combinations that you can use/configure and really see what you're missing out on.
The best way to learn about something is doing it hands-on! At least how that is for me!

DisplayFusion provides more features than Windows 10 has built-in, but it depends what features you need. I personally use DisplayFusion's Window Snapping, multi-monitor screen savers, custom Alt+Tab, Window Location, Taskbars (they're a bit more configurable) and I have some scripted functions that I use to perform complicated tasks. If you're only using DisplayFusion for the wallpapers, you're missing out on some great stuff.

Hi,

I have had DisplayFusion for quite some time. I have now updated to Windows 10 and have yet to install it. I noticed that it appears the only reason I really have it is to manage my wallpapers for multi monitors.

I am just wondering, am I missing something? What are your main reasons for using DisplayFusion? I just feel like installing an app for a single feature which should frankly be possible within Windows seems like a waste.
