By default, DisplayFusion will wait for 30-45 seconds after starting up (or possibly hibernating) before it tries to adjust your wallpaper. This is to allow other applications to startup without bogging them down. However, you can override this default time by using the advanced setting called "Startup Change Delay":

(BUT, when I first boot, the same image appears on both monitors; then a few seconds later, the image on the secondary monitor changes to the one I chose. Weird.)

My confusion over the forum UI started with the fact that I was put into a "forum" -- I was expecting to find a support PAGE, with options like an FAQ, and a "Contact Us" page and things like that. So, that's on me.

Then, when I did land in the Forum, I was faced with Unread Posts and New Replies and News and ... it was a bit much. My first reaction was: WTF?! What IS all this ... stuff?

Then, I had to think: do I have to register to search and / or submit a question? How do I register? (you already have my note about THAT item!) While it shouldn't be problematic to have to "think", it was ... distracting. I came to the site to (hopefully) solve a problem, and was presented with more questions. Distracting.

So, all of the pieces of the forum probably work quite well. But, it isn't exactly intuitive how / what to do on first visit.

Just go into the DisplayFusion Settings window, under the Wallpaper tab and select "Fix my wallpaper without prompting". Then, whenever DisplayFusion detects the wallpaper isn't correctly applied it will fix it immediately.

As for the OpenID registration, thanks for letting me know I'll check it out right away. I apologize for the bad forum search, that's the default search that comes with this forum software. What would you like to see different? Still using DF and still loving it. (The new "move window to next monitor" button is ... excellent!)

One problem, though: I have a laptop with an external monitor attached. I have chosen a different image for each monitor. Every time I turn on the computer (or restart it), both images are displayed on both screens. To correct it, I simply have to open DF to the Desktop Wallpaper config page and click "OK". But that's annoying, of course.

Is this happening to anyone else?

(BTW, on a different note: the OpenID function for this Support Forum doesn't work. And the search mechanism is WEAK.
