I'm not able to reproduce the same results here with LatencyMon, but at any rate, the best thing to do would be to create a Compatibility rule (Settings > Compatibility) for your recording app. In the rule, you can have DF disable the wallpaper changer automatically when that app is running

Hope that helps!

This is not much of an issue as Display Fusion can be exited when doing real time audio, but the interaction of Display Fusion and the MS DirectX dxgkrnl.sys results in some very large lags.

Tested with current version of latencymon and the lag spikes happen just when Display Fusion changes wallpapers. It may be the random wallpaper thing...

Seems on my system DF isn't playing nice, but despite the spikes I rarely get any dropouts playing audio or video, but if I was recording this may be a problem. BUT I can just exit DF when I want to do this.

Not really a huge issue but if your devs can fix this it may make your program run more efficiently.

DF is a great program so please view this as constructive suggestion
