If we can narrow it down to a specific feature in DisplayFusion that would help. On the Settings > Advanced Settings window, can you try enabling the "Disable Application Hooks" option and see if that makes any difference?
If you can send over a debug log as well, that would be great. Here are the steps:

On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply

Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file

Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab

Reply with the file attached

Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

On my 3 week old work laptop (limited ability to change/update things) In the last few days DisplayFusion 9.3 Pro has been causing problems. Active windows like Outlook or Slack will rapidly flicker with "(Not Responding)" in the title bar. the Windows process dwm shows up in the top three process slots by cpu usage. GUI interaction with anything is very difficult.

Until four days ago, everything was working fine and as expected. It is certainly possible that an update or configuration was pushed out that triggered this. However i have no visibility into this nor can I roll any changes back. The Microsoft updates are current / KB4457138 (OS Build 15063.1324).

Closing DisplayFusion makes these problems go away. Restarting DisplayFusion will bring them back within minutes.

I removed and reinstalled DisplayFusion this morning. the problem continues when DF is running.

Are there any solutions?
