Hello DisplayFusion Developers,<br/>
<br/>
at first a thank you for this cool program for a really affordable price! <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /><br/>
<br/>
I have a small question about the randomness, I read 2 old discussions about the randomness: <a href="https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/how-does-df-choose-random-wallpapers/?ID=a3182237-2bc2-4369-8969-a9c6fc6f387c" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><b>How does DF choose random wallpapers</b></a> and <a href="https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/random-wallpaper/?ID=94603eed-a566-442b-8391-7ee4c961409a" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><b>Random Wallpaper</b></a>.<br/>
<br/>
I read that you basically keep a list of the previously shown images in "WallpaperHistoryV4.db" and once there is no image available, which is not in the history, you clear the history and choose a new one.<br/>
My question is how does this work when having multiple wallpaper profiles?<br/>
<br/>
For my Laptop I basically have 3 folders:<br/>
A_Presentation - 3 Images<br/>
B_Landscape - About 30 Images<br/>
C_AnimeAndGames - About 150 Images<br/>
<br/>
And my Desktop Profiles are<br/>
1. Folder A<br/>
2. Folders A + B<br/>
3. Folders A + B + C<br/>
<br/>
I switch between these profiles at least twice a day. I use 3 when I'm at home, 2 for university and 1 while holding presentations, which I do at least once a week. I have the feeling that when I switch to 3 I often see the same images after switching to it. Does the history get fully reset when I'm through all 3 images of profile 1? Or does it keep a seperate list for each profile and it's just a wrong feeling for me?<br/>
<br/>
Could I resolve (decrease the effect of) this issue by changing Profile A to 1 fixed wallpaper (no randomness)?<br/>
<br/>
Thanks in advance!  <img src="https://www.displayfusion.com/MediaCommon/SVGs/FontAwesome/face-smile.light.svg" alt=":)" style="box-sizing:border-box;position:relative;overflow:hidden;vertical-align:middle !important;width:16px;height:16px;" HelpButtonData=":)" HelpButtonDataAlign="BelowMiddle" /> <br/>
Greets knittel<br/>
<br/>
P.S. I recently just noticed the AdvancedSetting for the HistoryReset Timer, so my testing was before setting it up to 999. I couldn't see a previous value in the advanced settings tab. Maybe, if the default value is very low this could also explain the non-randomness I was experiencing.
