But do you actually re-scale the image if it is massive down to the desktop resolution first before compressing it, which would save a lot of size. The reason I ask is because I notice very large camera images tend to end up looking much worse. It would be stupid to try and compress a 4Mb 10 megapixel image down to 256KB without first scaling it down to 1080P or 1440P.<br/>

That's a stupid limitation in Windows 7. Does Windows 10 does have this limitation also?

Why is this? Is someone going to fix it? Do you know about this bug (which has been there for years)?<br/>
