because in my opinion the wallpaper feature is actually really write intensive . Also if someone have just one merged wallpaper. cause it seems so that this image is often recreated by DF.

it is possible to save information about the monitor configuration and selected wallpaper into a txt file + the name of the created/merged wallpaper.
Then before a new wallpaper will be created/merged just check the actual monitorconfiguration, selected wallpapers and compare them with the txt file if in the txt file exist an entry DisplayFusion can use these image instead of creating this image again.

Hi,
it is possible that DF reuse created wallpapers in the temp folder?
So DF wouldn't need to create/merge the same images again and again and it would avoid writes on the SSD.
best regards
