Unfortunately for now it looks like we're out of luck. We may end up switching to a different browsing engine for the website screen saver in the future though, so if we do, we'll definitely let you know!

Windows 7. And now I see that youtube has done a huge update just the other day. Are my live stream screensaver days over!?

Which version of Windows are you running? The website screensaver uses the .NET web forms control, which unfortunately uses Internet Explorer as the engine. It's definitely possible that a recent YouTube change could have broken support for Internet Explorer

This used to work and then suddenly stopped working. See picture for what I get now. I didn't change the URL. It's always been this:

https://www.youtube.com/embed/7U7ijVPuZ3Q?autoplay=1

link.

Something flashes on the "screen" right before the video tries to load but it's gone too quickly to read.

I have a feeling this is a recent youtube change but it renders live feed screensavers impossible if using youtube autoplay URLs. If anyone has a workaround, please share!
