I'm having the same types of problems and have limitedly tried to use the triggers. I'm believing this is happening because my primary monitor is on my laptop (ThinkPad P71, NVIDIA Quadro) and my secondary is an external 3840/2160 AOC) monitor on either HDMI or DP.

The secondary monitor takes too long to be recognized by Windows so the windows are being reshuffled as the system starts up after sleeping. DisplayFusion comes in too late in this login sequence to help. I think this is more a Windows problem than DF.

I'm going to try an HDMI pass-through EDMI emulator to force the external monitor to always look like it is turned on.

Hello, the changes seemed to be successful for a couple of docking/undocking tries yesterday however not this morning when I docked. When I left office last night i was docked and put my computer to sleep. this morning i plugged my computer into the dock and brought it out of sleep. the wallpaper showed up on the secondary monitor telling me that the profile was recognized. i saw the program icons show that should be over there (excel and powerpoint) briefly appear and then they immediatly faded out and appeared on the primarly monitor.

I am probably the 900th person asking for help with this but seem to be struggling. I am using a series of triggers to save and restore windows positions on my laptop for when i dock and undock. everything was working great and then I had to change to a new docking station and the timing seems to be off. when i manually save the postions and then quickly dock and undock everything seems to work ok. however when i bring my computer out of sleep in the morning or return to my desk and redock after being away for a while i can see the restore function kick back in but it positions everything on one monitor instead of the way I had them positioned prior to undocking. i have fiddled with the timing of when it kicks off the restore trigger since at first it seems like it was doing it before detecting the monitor profile (based on the wallpaper on the screens). as far as I can tell display fusion is autodetecting both the docked and undocked profiles.

thanks!
