I never launched it from inside of Steam, only from the DF tray icon usually. So I just did that and indeed an installer ran for a couple seconds and it's updated to 6.0, haha.

Alternatively, you can enable automatic update checks on the Settings > Options tab, then click the "Check for Updates" button and you should get an update notification within DisplayFusion itself any time there's a new version.

Some time ago I purchased DisplayFusion Pro 5.1 on Steam and ever since I have read about the 6.0 release I have not been able to figure out how to upgrade to 6.0 because it apparently has not been updated on Steam so far.

I am not sure if I'm just supposed to download the regular 6.0 installer from here and use that because I can't be certain that doing so won't mess with the Steam aspect of my existing 5.1 install.

How should an owner of the Steam (Pro) version go about upgrading to version 6.0? ]]>
