I have attached a log from this morning...

So I had my laptop running for around 2 hours and then undocked it from my docking station with 2 x 24" ASUS monitors connected via Display Port leads off the docking station...

When I undocked it the resolution changed from 1920x1080 to something like 900x600... I then closed the lid on the laptop to shut the screen off and then opened it after a few seconds, once the screen woke up the Windows Basic theme was active and I had lost my Windows Aero theme...

It seems to do it most after a sleep or after I close the lid and the screen turns off....

Here is a couple of fixes you can try:
This issue can be caused by the graphic card memory is not enough or the graphic card driver is not up to date, try updating your graphics driver.

Failing that then:
Click on Start button and click on Control Panel.(Or type Control Panel in the Search Box if your system is Win10.
Click on System, click Advanced System Settings.
On the System Properties window, choose the Advanced tab.
Click on Settings button under Performance.
Now change the option from "Let Windows do what's best for my computer" to "Adjust for best appearance".
