Ok, yeah, this PNG looks about the same as the JPG. We set the JPG quality to 100%, and don't have compression enabled for the PNG, which means that it's the .NET image library that's mangling it when it scales/crops it

Unfortunately the only way for us to resolve this would be to change to a different image library, which is no easy task. However, I will put this on our list, and if we're able to switch image libraries in a future version, I'll let you know so that you can try it out
I just found out that I have sent you pictures from appdata on my second disc, where an older installation of DisplayFusion went to, before I reinstalled it with the newest update. But the pictures are the same, just the PNG one is 13MB instead, so I'm sending it in a package. It went from roaming to local probably because I've checked the "Install for all users" option this time.

I hope this isn't because I don't have Windows 8.1, I would love to update to it but I can't since I have a double-disc system with all Windows stuff on SSD and documents symlinked to a HDD. Following one guide to install it on such a system made me brick my only Windows account and I had to fiddle around the CMD mode for the whole afternoon, manually rewriting registry entries...

Has anyone noticed that the wallpapers you set through DisplayFusion are at significantly lower quality than the default Windows wallpaper picker? If I have a PNG picture that I want to keep every curves of sharp, and set it as a wallpaper through the default Windows option, it stays sharp. But if I do a multi-screen wallpaper through this program, it degrades in quality, and the edges become annoyingly blurry- you know what a JPEG looks like after all.

So is there any way of setting the wallpapers to maintain the original quality? I am currently on an unregistered version of the program and considering it's purchase through Steam, however this is a deal breaker if there's no fix for it
