Here are the general steps:
  • Move the window to the location and resize it however you'd like
  • Open the DisplayFusion Settings > HotKeys tab, and click the Add button
  • Use the target in the Add HotKey window to pick the window and have the HotKey settings automatically filled in
  • Give the HotKey a name and save it
  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Window Location tab, create a new rule for that application
  • From the Window Size drop-down, choose "Run Selected HotKey on the Window"
  • From the HotKey drop-down, choose the custom HotKey you created
  • From the Window Location Mode drop-down, choose "All Windows"
  • Click OK and Apply to save the new rule
That should force the application to always open in the spot you specified. You can repeat the steps above for other applications as well :)
