In 7.3.4, we used to save the wallpaper configuration based on the monitors from left to right, instead of by monitor ID, but we had too many other issues with it being that way, so we changed it to save by ID, with the unfortunate side effect mentioned in your scenario. We hope to improve that in the future still, but in the meantime, you can do this so that the wallpaper setup will be correct for both configurations:

Save each monitor configuration as a Monitor Profile (in the DisplayFusion Monitor Config window)

For each monitor configuration, setup the wallpaper, and save them as separate Wallpaper Profiles

In the Monitor Config window, click "Manage Monitor Profiles," and assign the Wallpaper Profiles to their respective Monitor Profiles

Hope that helps!

I just installed Display Fusion 9 but have discovered an issue that may or may not have come up before. I have a 24" Dell monitor connected via DVI as my Primary Display with it's own desktop wallpaper and a 55" Samsung LED TV connected via HDMI as my Secondary Display with a black screen as wallpaper. This configuration cannot be changed. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and due to it's annoying habit of display numbering in a certain port order that you can't change (have tried all the solutions found in a Google search without any success) my Primary Display shows as '2' and the TV shows as '1'. The Desktops are in extended configuration with no taskbar on the TV. When I turn off the TV, inside Display Fusion 9 the Dell monitor becomes '1' on the Monitor Configuration screen and the desktop wallpaper disappears and becomes black. This didn't happen with the previous version I was using 7.3.4. where it also changed to '1' on the Monitor Configuration screen but still retained it's wallpaper picture. Is there a way to stop this happening? Thanks.
