By default, DisplayFusion will backup the settings to the "Documents\DisplayFusion Backups" folder any time you update to a new version. There's no way to set regularly scheduled backups, but at least you'll have some recent backups (especially if you run the Beta versions, as we usually update once a week or so).

Alternatively, since all of the DisplayFusion settings are stored in the registry in "HKCU\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion", you could setup a Scheduled Task in Windows to run the following command:

Code

Copy

Select All

regedit /e c:\folder\dfsettings.reg "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion"

That command will export the settings to that file each time you run it (overwriting the previous backup).

Hope that helps!

Is there a way to get DisplayFusion to automatically backup or store all settings in a specified folder? If I ever have to reinstall windows it's nice to know that all of my settings will already be stored with the rest of my documents (which are, of course, well backed-up).
