I don't agree with the post above.
I've been annoyed by this for quite some time. I have like 30 windows/programs opened with a triple monitor setup. When I stop my monitors, they all move to the main monitor (or the last active monitor) and when I power the monitors back on, I need to move all those 30 windows/programs to their respective monitor.

Unfortunately that's not something that DisplayFusion can work around, so you'd need to switch back to using DVI or HDMI for the second monitor to avoid this behaviour.

However, if I turn off screen 2, all the windows and icons on that screen move to screen 1.

This has only happened since I started using the displayport connector on the second monitor.

Any ideas please? ]]>
