A trend perhaps? I'll install the new ATI drivers on my ATI testing machine tonight and see what happens. Do you have the specific driver version? I'm assuming it's 9.1. It's very, very strange that all of a sudden DisplayFusion has stopped working for 3 different people in 1 week. DisplayFusion v2.2.1 was released almost 6 months ago and hasn't been changed at all in those 6 months, so I would be hesitant to say that it is DisplayFusion causing these problems. I'm hoping we can find some common ground here (video drivers, background software... etc) and troubleshoot from there.

The entire picture goes on each screen instead of being stretched over two.

I tried changing the settings to use two different images, and only the picture loaded on the primary monitor shows. I use 2 identical monitors to connect to a xps laptop- 1 monitor through the vga, the other through dvi.
