It definitely is the entire taskbar crashing, it hangs for several seconds and is unresponsive, then the entire taskbar and explorer crash. I find it most often if I'm copying or working with file between 2 windows, maybe explorer to explorer, or maybe uploading files to a website from explorer. Yes that's exactly what happens. I tried unloading DF from running and the crashes went away. When I have a Windows explorer window open and maximized in a split it periodically crashes, in windows event viewer there is nothing displayed. In the log file it happens at 3:09pm and 3:13pm.
