For the first time in a vvvvvvvery long time, my manually initiated Nvidia update from V417.22 to V417.35 did NOT blank out my Monitor 1 to a black background during or on completion of the update. In other words, my dual monitor wallpaper spanning monitors 1 and 2(primary) stayed active and I did not have to reset monitor 1 back to spanning following the completion of the Nvidia update.

I am hopeful that this is caused by "Fix: Combined wallpaper configurations no longer get messed-up if a monitor sleeps/disconnects and reconnects" incorporated in Beta 6.

My guess would be that the monitor IDs got switched around when the driver updated. That's usually corrected by a reboot though. The next time you upgrade your drivers, if the wallpaper breaks again, can you try rebooting to see if that fixes it up?
Rebooting does not clear up the problem. Monitor 1 reboots with a solid black wallpaper instead of being combined with Monitor 2.

This applies to Windows 10x64 Pro Build 15063.447 V1703 with 3 monitors 3-2-1 with monitor 2 as the primary. Monitor 3 has its own wallpaper and is in portrait, Monitors 2 and 1 share a wall paper and are in landscape. The graphics card is an EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Titan.

When upgrading the Nvidia driver, Monitor 1 switches to a solid color. Monitors 2 and 3 properly retain their wallpaper setting.

A debug log is attached. The log spans the Nvidia upgrade procedure. When I upgrade, I use the Custom procedure and do not install GeForce Experience.

Please note that this bug was occurring on the previous version of DF as well.
