Ah ok, if DisplayFusion did fix the issue in the past, it was definitely a fluke, as we don't have any sort of functionality that would fix a problem like that. Sorry!

Video card drivers are the only thing I can think of as well unfortunately. Aside from that, maybe try a different screenshot tool, like SnagIt to see if it has the same issue. SnagIt isn't free, but they do have a trial at least.

If you do end up finding the root cause, I'd love to hear what it was!

Windows 7 Professional SP1 x64

When monitors are extended and arranged horizontally, there are no issues when using Display Fusion or not.
When monitors are extended and arranged vertically, both with and without Display Fusion there is an issue. In the previous versions, it seems that Display Fusion was able to overcome whatever settings in Windows or nvidia drivers was causing the "overlay" and let the screen capture work successfully.

Since it happens under windows without DF, I guess its a problem somewhere in the OS, but it doesn't make any sense to me that DF was able to overcome this in earlier versions but not anymore? Ultimately I realize now this isn't a DF issue, and still think it is an outstanding product.

I've already gone ahead and updated nvidia drivers to the newest available right now (331.82), to no avail. Any other troubleshooting you think might work?

I was successfully using Greenshot 1.1.x and DF 5.1.0 for months. After upgrading DF to 5.1.1 and Greenshot to 1.1.7, now I just get my second monitoring overlaying on-top of my primary monitor contents thus blocking the content I need to capture with the screenshot. This only happens when using REGION capture. If I actually complete the screenshot blindly, the content is there, but 99/100 the content isn't framed correctly since I couldn't see it during region capture.

This is the same behavior as Windows Snipping Tool had originally which led me to use Greenshot. If I use the (screen 1) or (screen 2) option within Greenshot everything is OK, except I don't want to crop this before using, it's wasted steps. This leads me to believe it is a DF issue and not a Greenshot issue.

(OS Windows 7 SP1, 64bit)

Suggestions or files you need to help?

DisplayFusion doesn't have any screenshot functionality built-in. However, Windows 7 and 8 have basic functionality with the Snipping Tool.
There's also a more comprehensive screenshot tool that I like, and is free: http://getgreenshot.org/
Hope that helps!
