If you aren't using any of these features, I would encourage you to leave the hooks disabled. I installed the latest Beta 8.

To be clear, I have Adobe Acrobat 8, not Adobe Reader 8. Adobe recommends not installing Acrobat and Reader at the same time.

Unfortunately, it still seems to be doing the same thing as in my original post. Reader/Acrobat is going to be a bad software to have working improperly with DF since it is so widespread. I thought a few people might have chimed in here confirming having issues with this. Has anyone else reported problems with DF and Reader/Acrobat?

I am trying out the setting here, Settings Compatibility Pause Global Application Hooks... for just when Acrobat is being used. Pausing the hooks immediately lets Acrobat work properly! What exactly am I giving up when I pause the hooks? Everything at first glance seems to still be working fine with DF. I have my additional taskbar which behaves fine, the titlebar buttons work, etc.

Unfortunately this appears to be an Adobe Reader issue, there isn't anything I can do to fix this. When I have Acrobat open and resize the window, the PDF inside does not resize along with it, whether you are shrinking or enlarging the window. If I close Display Fusion and reopen Acrobat the problem is fixed. (See attached screenshots)

After doing some research, I ran across a couple of articles that seem to hit on the cause of the problem which is not a direct fault of Display Fusion it seems.

This article led me to turn off Display Fusion in the first place, which seems to fix the problem
