You can tell how much I have used Metro/Universal Apps haha. Was never a fan... but the Skype one is actually turning out quite well. They have a *dark* theme which I now can't live without. The scaling on my 4k monitors also works much better as PCs still have some issues with some apps rendering on high res monitors. I think the metro apps render based on percentages, which seems to work much better.

Hopefully a workaround can eventually be found. This is actually a general issue with all Universal (Windows Store) apps. We can't remove them from the Windows taskbar in the same way that we can with regular Win32 (desktop) apps. We do have this on our list to try and find a workaround though, so if/when we're able to solve it, we'll definitely let you know!

I am curious if you have thought about adding support for Skype preview? It's actually very well polished and a lot of people I know are now using this over the desktop app.

I have attached a screen of what is happening on primary/secondary display. Currently pinned on 2nd monitor, yet still shows on primary when running as well as a 2nd copy on secondary.

I realize it is still in preview so perhaps you don't want to bother yet, which is totally understandable... but thought I would mention it As it is annoying me haha.
