Thanks for the heads up! This is due to the fact that the hotkeys can be setup on the Functions tab as well, but that doesn't update if it's set somewhere else (like the Manage Monitor Profiles window) while the Settings window is open. So when you click ok, the settings get overwritten with the old ones (no hotkeys assigned).

Long story short, I have an idea on how we can resolve this, and I've put it on our list to investigate further

Thanks!

Hi,

I'd like to report a little problem when saving settings. Not a big issue, there's a workaround. But you might be interested.

I tried to assign Key Combinations to my Monitor Profiles. This is how I did that:

Open DF main window

Click on 'Monitor Configuration' then 'Manage Monitor Profiles'

Assign Key Combinations then click on 'Close'

In the 'Monitor Configuration' window click 'Apply' then 'OK'

In the main window click 'Apply' then 'OK'

Result: My new Key Combinations are lost!

This is how it works:

Open DF main window

Click on 'Monitor Configuration' then 'Manage Monitor Profiles'

Close the main window

Assign Key Combinations then click on 'Close'

In the 'Monitor Configuration' window click 'Apply' then 'OK'

Result: My new Key Combinations are stored.

I usually are very carefull when adjusting settings in DF. You never know when clicking 'OK' actually saves the setting and when you need to be sure to click 'Apply' first. Hence also my approach to click 'Apply' then 'OK' both in the configuration window and the main window. But that carefull approach actually lost my settings.
Notclicking 'Apply'/'OK' in the main window does the trick.

So there's a workaround for my problem of loosing key combinations. But you probably want to rethink the 'OK'/'Apply'/'Cancel' concept. These buttons do not work as we are used to it from other software.
