I looked at the compatibility options under properties, nothing was enabled. I then changed my wallpaper using displayfusion and restarted my pc. When it loaded, the aero features were again not functioning and greyed out in the displayfusion settings. I then decided to restart pc again without changing anything and the aero features returned.

So, I can change my wallpaper with displayfusion and it works fine initially, however, if pc is restarted the aero features don't load properly so I have to restart again. The number of restarts seem to be random.

Does this mean anything to you?

Thanks for spending the time on this.
