That's for the reply. I thought that might be the case. It's unfortunate as I watch a lot of YouTube for instance and I want to be in Eyefinity mode all the time because I have a hard time switching in and out of that mode (I have a fourth monitor plugged into the onboard graphics card and AMD's drivers REALLY don't like switching modes). It's a good feature none the less and I will be making use of it.

Maybe I can find another application out there somewhere than can force a full screen application to act as a window that's compatible with DisplayFusion.

This is an epic feature. I've been waiting for this for a long time. I've always had trouble going in and out of Eyefinity mode when wanting to play games so this is a god send.

I've done a quick test and it seems to work fine. I've tested it with some games and it appears to work great with most of them. Some required me to add compatiblity options to force DisplayFusion to treat them as fullscreen applications so they'd use the Eyefinity resolution.

I don't know if it exists and I couldn't find it but an option to force DisplayFusion to NOT treat an application as fullscreen would be useful as well. Some games I have won't work with Eyefinity resolutions and they're fullscreen so they just won't work.

Edit: One issue I've encountered is that with "gaps" between the monitors (not padding), windows will still get rendered in those gaps. It would be better if any windows that are dragged over or any menus displayed in these gaps are put onto the next monitor or the menus are pushed back onto the current monitor (like how windows will move a menu if you open it right next to the edge of a monitor). I hope that was clear enough.

Edit2: A good example of needing a "force NOT fullscreen" is YouTube's fullscreen option. Just went to watch a YouTube video and clicked the fullscreen button. Video is now on center monitor and the 2 outer ones are blank.

Ok! DisplayFusion 7.0 Beta 6 is available, and we've added support for asymmetrical splits, and bezel corrected resolutions. In the Monitor Configuration window, hit the "Splits and Padding" button, and you'll get the window with all the configuration options for the splits. Here are some basic steps for bezel corrected resolutions to get you started:

Assuming you have three monitors, use the "Preset Splits" button to select the 3x1 option.

Click the "Show Preview" button.

Select each split, and set the "Width" and "Height" values to the actual resolution of your monitor (not the bezel corrected resolution).

Select the middle split, and using the "Left" box in the Location group, increase the value until you see the white line on the left side of the middle monitor.

Select the right split, and using the "Left" box in the Location group, increase the value until you see the white line on the left side of the middle monitor.

Verify that all three monitors have a white line on all four sides, then click OK, and OK again.

When you've had a chance to test it out, please let us know how it goes! We're looking for any feedback on functionality, as well as usability
Added your vote, but unfortunately can't offer an ETA at the moment.

In the meantime, you can create a custom Function on the Settings > Functions tab to size the window to the exact size in pixels. See the attached example

You'd need to tweak the values a bit for your system, and make one Function for each monitor, but that should hopefully be easier than manually re-sizing with the mouse every time. You can assign those Functions to TitleBar Buttons by selecting them in the list and clicking "Toggle TitleBar Button."

Thanks!

As an Eyefinity user, you can add me to your list-of-people-who-would-be-super-happy-if-bezel-compensation-support-were-to-be-implemented-soon! (The odds are slim you actually have a list with that exact name, but you get my drift )

My workaround is to simply never maximize applications. I manually make them 'about as big as one monitor', which is a bit of a drag, especially since I'm super neurotic, so I always want my windows resized exactly to the monitor edges, pixel perfect.

I've been thinking for months that something along these lines would be the solution to the last of my gripes with nvidia surround.
My current workaround is that I set up CTRL + PGUP as a hotkey to switch monitor profiles between bezel/non-bezel corrected resolutions. I would prefer to just leave bezel correction on all the time but I simply can't as the edges of the taskbar are cut off, making them unusable.

Keith, I'm sure that this is not something that would be trivial to implement, but if/when you guys can make this happen I would be eternally grateful. You have built a fantastic piece of software and I preach the gospel every chance I get!

I was thinking that this would totally work, and if asymmetrical splits are put into the program, it would allow us to manually compensate for the bezels. However, what I recently noticed was that I can use the monitor configuration to allow me to slide back to the uncompensated resolution 5760x1080 and then slide back to the compensated 6028x1080. This alone was a boon, and I hope that the slide option for the compensated resolution will remain when I close the window because honestly I only use the bezel compensation for games, and when I am not gaming I don't need it. I was frustrated originally because there was not a quick way to turn on and off bezel compensation inside of the AMD Catalyst Control but I didn't even think to check if I could just switch around the resolutions... So huzzah for that, but I would defiantly be happy to not have to stop what I am doing every time i switch from a browser to a game and back or whatever to reset the bezel compensation. This is faster but not optimal... please hurry I can pay more if need be, I LOVE this program, in fact I have built two other eyefinity systems for two other people and bought a copy for one of them and insisted my brother buy his own, but he did. It is an invaluable multi-monitor tool, it will most likely be installed on all multi-monitor systems I build from here on out to be honest.

Very much interested in this feature as well, as I use Nvidia Surround with triple 1080p monitors bezel corrected to 6040x1080. As it is, the taskbar edges are hidden behind the bezels on this resolution, making it unusable. If it was possible to define two extra empty sections for the bezels or simply support bezel corrected resolutions natively, I'd buy this software in a heartbeat. Keep us posted!
