@Jon - I've assumed full support would start working it's way in now the RC is out. Trust me, I really do understand the issues, I've been there myself; I worked with the Microsoft ASP.NET team when they were building the first version and we had daily builds, where the API changed from one day to the next. It was a nightmare. I eagerly await 3.1.

This is definitely possible, since UltraMon manages it, so I'm sure you'll find a solution. I'm a dev myself, although not a windows app one, so I understand the trials you're going through. I'm actually using both at the moment; the DF taskbar is better than the UM one, but the UM handling of per monitor tasks is better. I hide the UM taskbar under the DF one, so I get the best of both worlds.

I bought the Pro version the other day and this is the only thing stopping me from loving DF at the moment. For me, having only the tasks for the appropriate monitor on the task bar is the prime reason for using a taskbar manager. You appear to have more active development and are communicating with your users more, which always makes me feel better about a product.

The methods I use for Win2000, XP and Vista don't work in Win7 anymore. And the methods that do work in Win7 (and also work in WinXP and Vista) have some serious downsides. Benway: Do you remember in one of the early version 3 betas (maybe around beta 7), when you minimized/maximized a window it's taskbar button would briefly appear in the Windows taskbar before being removed again? This is what I would have to use in Windows 7, and it's definitely not perfect. I'm probably going to wait until Windows 7 goes final before investing a lot of time into it, as I'm hoping some new options will present themselves.

Honestly, I'd be very much surprised is anyone will be able to figure this out. The new W7 taskbar (as Jon said, doubles as a shortcutbar) looks to be serious trouble and segregating it's shortcuts from actual running programs kind of defeats it's whole purpose. Jon's a smart one though.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. The "All taskbars show relevant windows" is currently unavailable in Windows 7. The reason for this is that I don't currently have a good way of "hiding" the taskbar items on the Windows 7 taskbar. Because the taskbar items also double as the shortcut, I really don't want to mess with them. Once the Windows 7 SDK goes out of beta I will be investing much more time into adding this feature. For now, you can have the Windows 7 taskbar display all the windows, and the DisplayFusion taskbar can display only the relevant windows. Thanks!

I am new to DisplayFusion, I have always used Ultramon but the lack of Windows 7 support is driving me crazy. The only thing I use is the taskbar on each monitor feature however I can't seem to get this to work properly with DisplayFusion 3.0.3. What i want (I think) is the "All taskbars show relevant windows" option however that is greyed out and not selectable. Is this greyed out because of Windows 7 and if so is this something that will be changed in a later release?
